Challenge

The client needed a system to monitor staff travel activities, including branch visits, routes, and distances covered. Key challenges included verifying travel claims, optimizing routes, and ensuring real-time visibility into staff movements. Additionally, they required an admin dashboard to centralize data, manage staff profiles, and generate actionable reports, while staff needed a simple mobile app to log trips without manual intervention.

Solution

We built a two-part solution:
  • Analytics & Admin Dashboard A centralized platform where admins log in to create/manage staff profiles, view real-time staff locations, monitor ongoing trips, and access detailed trip histories (routes, distances, durations). The dashboard also generates reports for travel analysis and accountability.
  • Mobile App Staff log in to start/end trips with a single tap. The app automatically tracks routes via GPS, records distance and time, and syncs data to the dashboard. Staff can view their own trip history for reference, eliminating manual logs.

Results of the collaboration so far

The system provided end-to-end visibility into staff travel, enabling real-time tracking of routes, distances, and trip histories. It ensured accurate verification of branch visits. Admins gained access to detailed reports and analytics for each staff member, improving oversight and decision-making. The mobile app’s simplicity allowed staff to log trips effortlessly, while the dashboard centralized all data, enhancing transparency and operational efficiency across the organization.
