WordPress Developer

We are excited to invite a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our vibrant team at The Web People. In this role, you will embark on an exciting journey working on diverse projects, contributing to the development of innovative websites using WordPress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Create custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to achieve project goals and client expectations.
• Perform website performance tests, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize speed and functionality.
• Ensure websites meet accessibility standards, SEO best practices, and responsive design requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging WordPress technologies to incorporate into projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients as needed.
• Manage version control and maintain project documentation for future reference and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in WordPress development, migration, and design.

Skills

• Knowledge in WordPress theme and plugin development, Elementor plugin, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
• Proficiency with website optimization tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team player and ability to contribute to group success.
